Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian lost against Temple Christian last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Faith Christian Warriors received a blow as they fell 44-29 to the Temple Christian Crusaders. The Warriors were down 37-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian still got an impressive performance from Matthew Burton, who posted 12 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Burton a new career-high in blocks (two).

Temple Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Silas Walker, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Carter Cash was another key player, putting up ten points and seven boards.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Temple Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Faith Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-16 win against King's Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Temple Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 46-38 victory against Faith Christian Academy on the 4th.
