Soccer Recap: West Forsyth Starts Season with Win at Home

West Forsyth gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Winston Salem Christian Lions get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but West Forsyth were the better team in the second half.

They hit Winston Salem Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Campden Bishop (2), Ethan Barghout, and Jefferson Barralaga-Lopez.

Winston Salem Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, West Forsyth will challenge Apex Friendship at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Winston Salem Christian, they will be playing at home against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
