Baseball Recap: Prospect Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Prospect won the last time they faced Glenbrook South and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Titans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Matt Jackson and Logan Nordentoft made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Jackson struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Nordentoft pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Those six strikeouts gave Jackson a new career-high. At bat, Jackson went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Nordentoft went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
