Marcus kept a clean sheet against Flower Mound on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Flower Mound Jaguars by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in February.

Beckett Hoffmann and Ethan Garza scored both of Marcus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Marcus' victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Flower Mound, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marcus will take on Little Elm at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Flower Mound, they will square off against Coppell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Coppell has 11 straight wins, Flower Mound has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.
