McLendon came up big in Nanih Waiya's 11-6 win
Walt McLendon turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six innings on Wednesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem: he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off 11 hits (and only one walk).
McLendon's strong effort led Nanih Waiya over Noxapater and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nanih Waiya is 9-0 against Noxapater going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
