Football Game Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. Granville Blue Aces

The Sheridan Generals will head out on the road to face off against the Granville Blue Aces at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Sheridan was able to grind out a solid victory over New Lexington, taking the game 31-21.

Meanwhile, Granville's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past Mt. Vernon 35-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Aces.

Sheridan better keep an eye on Jackson McMillan. He was instrumental in Granville's win, throwing for 97 yards and three touchdowns.

Granville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 342 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Sheridan's record now sits at 7-3. As for Granville, their record is now an identical 7-3.

Sheridan was able to grind out a solid win over Granville when the teams last played back in November of 2018, winning 20-7. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Blue Aces have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
