It was a good run, but Winnebago unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. The match between them and the Ponca Indians didn't end well, with the Winnebago Indians falling 49-33. The contest marked Winnebago's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Winnebago saw an underclassman step up: freshman Darrius LaPointe posted nine points.
