Basketball Game Preview: North Hills Christian Eagles vs. Grace Academy Lions

The North Hills Christian Eagles will face off against the Grace Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 92-54, which was the final score in North Hills Christian's tilt against Sugar Creek Charter two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 534th, while the Wildcats are ranked 256th).

Meanwhile, Grace Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against Metrolina Christian Academy, falling 69-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since November 12, 2024.

North Hills Christian will need focus on slowing down Evan Buslovich, one of several Grace Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carson Payne, who put up nine points.

Grace Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for North Hills Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

North Hills Christian came up short against Grace Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2016, falling 98-88. Can North Hills Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
