Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Abigail Capuzzo and Kelsey Joshua Lead Oakleaf to Victory

Oakleaf picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the KIPP Bold City Greyhounds.

Oakleaf was led to victory by Kelsey Joshua and Abigail Capuzzo. Joshua had seven aces, while Capuzzo had seven assists and four aces. Those seven aces gave Joshua a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Oakleaf was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in six consecutive contests.

The win got Oakleaf back to even at 9-9. As for KIPP Bold City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Oakleaf has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Aiken on the 3rd. As for KIPP Bold City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against St. Augustine on the 4th.
