Volleyball Game Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. Cypress Bay Lightning

West Broward is 0-7 against Cypress Bay since March of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Bobcats will challenge the Lightning at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with West Broward sitting on five straight wins and Cypress Bay on three.

West Broward is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over South Broward.

West Broward found their leader in sophomore Alfonso Acosta, who had 30 digs.

Meanwhile, Cypress Bay got the win against Flanagan on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

West Broward's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Cypress Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.

West Broward might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Cypress Bay in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
