Baseball Recap: Palmerton Blue Bombers vs. Palisades Pirates
Palmerton lost to Palisades back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Blue Bombers were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Pirates. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Bombers.

Cameron Pengelly spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Mason George was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Greyson Ahner, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Palmerton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palisades struck out nine times.
Palmerton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Palisades, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
