Football Game Recap: Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech vs. West Springfield

Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to West Springfield, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech on Friday, winning 34-24. The win was a breath of fresh air for West Springfield as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

West Springfield's win brought them up to 2-5. Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

It's more conference action for West Springfield and Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech in their upcoming matches. Next week West Springfield will take on Wahconah Regional at 7:00 PM. These teams both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Putnam Vo-Tech/Sci-Tech, they will go up against Northampton/Hopkins Academy. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
