After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Hamilton, Bradley Central was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Signal Mountain Eagles. The win was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Maryah Greenwood made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alliyssia Herbold, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since March 4th. Karly Farkas was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
