Marcionna Young leads Southern Choctaw to victory over Choctaw County

Recap: Southern Choctaw Indians vs. Choctaw County Tigers
The Southern Choctaw Indians had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took down Choctaw County 67-52. With that victory, Southern Choctaw brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Marcionna Young was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Southern Choctaw's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keri Mcgee, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Southern Choctaw's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Choctaw County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Southern Choctaw will be playing in front of their home fans against Leroy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Choctaw County, they will head out on the road to face off against Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
