Basketball Recap: Washington County Panthers vs. Northampton County Jaguars
It was a proper cat-fight when Washington County duked it out withNorthampton County on Friday. Everything went the Washington County Panthers' way against the Northampton County Jaguars as the Washington County Panthers made off with a 59-39 victory. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 56-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Washington County to victory were Ke'Myia Young and Ke'Nyia Young. Ke'Myia dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds, while Ke'Nyia went 10 of 15 on her way to 22 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The dominant performance gave Ke'Nyia a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Carter, who posted eight points and four steals.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Washington County was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northampton County only posted three assists.
