Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Greenville walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Wilmington Greyhounds 25-22. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Greenville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cael Thurber out in front who rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 156 yards on 11 of 17 attempts. Those 89 rushing yards gave Thurber a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Rudy Gentile, who rushed for 41 yards and a pair of scores.

Greenville's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Wilmington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

As of now, neither Greenville nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
