Softball Recap: Bristol Takes a Loss

Bristol extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 10-10-1 in the process. They lost 13-2 to the Badger Braves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Braves since April 14, 2016.

As for Badger, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Badger's part, Samantha Bradbury made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Bradbury was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kyleigh Hall was incredible, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Riley Thomas also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

As of now, neither Bristol nor Badger have any future games scheduled.
