Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northern Heights). They put the hurt on the Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans with a sharp 58-38 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Northern Heights' victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2-1. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Northern Heights Wildcats challenge the Burlingame Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burlingame has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Marais des Cygnes Valley, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hartford at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
