Basketball Recap: Jamar Underwood's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Riverdale over North Fort Myers

Riverdale was the 68-67 winner over North Fort Myers when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Riverdale Raiders fell to the North Fort Myers Red Knights 47-41.

Riverdale lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jamar Underwood, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rayshaun Lindor, who had 12 points.

Robert Ballesteros continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Fort Myers, going 7 of 15 on his way to 17 points. Trey Makar was another key player, putting up nine points.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Fort Myers, they moved to 8-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Riverdale has already played their next game, a 67-51 loss against East Lee County on the 9th. As for North Fort Myers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-40 defeat against Immokalee on the 10th.
