Baseball Recap: Foresthill Wildfires vs. Valley Christian Lions
Foresthill extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 11-9. They lost 19-0 to the Valley Christian Lions. The shutout was out of character for the Wildfires seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.
As for Valley Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The result was nothing new for Valley Christian, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
For Valley Christian's part, Kurt Haase made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.
