After a string of five wins, Community's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the New Franklin Bulldogs, falling 50-29. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Community's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for New Franklin, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Community will welcome Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Franklin, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-30 loss against Westran on the 11th.
