Football Recap: Lutheran East Comes Up Short

If Lutheran East was riding high fresh off their 34-0 takedown of John Hay last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons were beaten by the Norton Panthers 54-20 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 53-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2020.

Lutheran East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran East will head out to face off against Ridgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Norton, they will venture away from home to square off against Tuscarawas Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
