Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Emerald Ridge's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Emerald Ridge hadn't done well against Olympia recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Emerald Ridge Jaguars walked away with a 62-55 victory over the Olympia Bears. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Bears back in January, they had to take a 54-45 defeat.

Emerald Ridge has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Olympia, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-4.

As of now, neither Emerald Ridge nor Olympia have any future games scheduled.
