Baseball Recap: Carterville Victorious

While Carterville's victory against Trico wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions never let the Pioneers get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Wednesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Trico's batters probably weren't too happy with Aidan Swallers, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up a single walk). Swallers has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Camden Wright, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
