Baseball Game Preview: Bartlett Hawks vs. Larkin Royals

For the second straight game, Bartlett will face off against Larkin. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Royals at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Bartlett and Larkin meet (seven straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Hawks blew past the Royals 11-1.

Josh Colaizzi was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Dillon Frost was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Bartlett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bartlett's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13-1. As for Larkin, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17.
