Bridgeland is a perfect 10-0 against Cypress Park since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will look to defend their home court against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Cypress Park took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bridgeland, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Bridgeland made easy work of Cypress Springs and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bridgeland took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8, 25-6.

Bridgeland can attribute much of their success to Alexis Couch, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces Couch has posted since back in August. Ryleigh Johnston also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Cypress Park came up short against Cypress Ranch on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-9, 25-13.

Cypress Park's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Bridgeland, their win bumped their record up to 24-11.

Bridgeland took their victory against Cypress Park in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
