St. Charles won the last time they faced the Thomas Stone Cougars, and things went their way on Friday too. St. Charles blew past Thomas Stone, posting a 67-38 victory on the road.
Tajir Webster was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of St. Charles' points. Shamir Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 12 rebounds.
The win got St. Charles back to even at 1-1. As for Thomas Stone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Charles will be home for the holidays to greet Westlake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Thomas Stone will be home for the holidays to greet North Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
