Soccer Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short

Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brophy College Prep Broncos. That's two games in a row now that Millennium have lost by just one goal.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Brophy College Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.

Millennium does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brophy College Prep, they will welcome Thunderbird at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brophy College Prep's defense better be ready for this one: Thunderbird have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
