Tri-Valley is 8-2 against Horseshoe Bend since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Tri-Valley Titans will head out to take on the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Tri-Valley is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

Tri-Valley will head into Tuesday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 40) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Salmon River 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since December 19, 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horseshoe Bend). They walked away with a 41-32 victory over Greenleaf Friends Academy on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tri-Valley better keep an eye on Ashlyn Wolsleben. She was instrumental in Horseshoe Bend's win, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Addy Asher, who posted four points along with ten rebounds and three blocks.

Horseshoe Bend smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Horseshoe Bend, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-10.

Everything came up roses for Tri-Valley against Horseshoe Bend in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 53-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tri-Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
