Softball Recap: Walled Lake Central Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Fenton Tigers, falling 15-0. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Walled Lake Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Fenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-6-1 record this season.

Walled Lake Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against South Lyon East on the 18th. As for Fenton, they will host Goodrich at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Martians will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
