Sandwich has gone 3-0 against Harvard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Sandwich Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Harvard Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Sandwich has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight losses, while Harvard will come in with three straight wins.

Last Monday, Sandwich came up short against Ottawa and fell 48-36. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Pirates are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, Harvard hadn't done well against Woodstock North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Harvard walked away with a 60-47 victory over Woodstock North.

Harvard now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Sandwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

Sandwich was able to grind out a solid win over Harvard when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 45-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sandwich since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
