 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Schenck can now relate to. They fell just short of the Hodgdon Hawks by a score of  8-7 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Schenck of the  8-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in June of 2017.
 For Hodgdon's part, they let  Hunter Duttweiler and  Reiley Wright loose on the outfield. Duttweiler  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Wright  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Finn Gardiner was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Schenck has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record  this season. As for Hodgdon, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with that  win, which was their seventh straight  at home.
 Schenck does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hodgdon, they will square off against Fort Fairfield on Thursday. Fort Fairfield will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Hodgdon surely won't give up without a fight.
