Volleyball Recap: Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Comes Up Short

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy lost against Putnam last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Phoenix fell 3-1 to the Clippers. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 19-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Putnam, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley on the 1st. As for Putnam, they will head out on the road to face off against Cheney Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Clippers are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
