Grace Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Freedom Christian Academy Patriots by a score of 74-67. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won four in a row.

Grace Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaedyn Cole, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 20 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Ellis, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards.

Grace Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive games dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Freedom Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Bryce West, who posted 40 points and three steals. Karsten Swinney was another key player, putting up seven points and seven assists.

Grace Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-54 victory against St. Thomas More Academy on the 11th. As for Freedom Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 124-100 win against Oak City Prep on the 10th.
