Baseball Recap: MacArthur Generals vs. Springfield Southeast Spartans
MacArthur extended their losing streak to seven on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 3-9 in the process. They came up short against the Springfield Southeast Spartans, falling 12-2. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 18-1 to the Spartans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The Generals will take on Warrensburg-Latham at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (456 vs. 98). Meanwhile, Springfield Southeast (ranked 400th) will meet Mt. Pulaski (ranked 134th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
