Preview: Jackson Generals vs. ABF Academy Cowboys
The Jackson Generals's road trip will continue as they head out to face the ABF Academy Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. on January 18th. ABF Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jackson, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Jackson's game was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 57-42 win over Mourning.
Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordany Fils-Aime led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leonard Clark, who scored 16 points.
ABF Academy suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of American Heritage by a score of 42-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points ABF Academy has scored all season.
Jackson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for ABF Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
