Colony and West Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Colony had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolf Pack by a score of 2-1. Colony's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Owen Dietz, who's now up to 13 this season.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2-2. As for West Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5-1.

Colony didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Juneau-Douglas on the 31st. Hopefully West Valley paid attention to the Knights' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Knights at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
