Volleyball Recap: Pickens Comes Up Short

Pickens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Franklin County Lions. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Pickens' defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Franklin County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Pickens has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Union County on the 21st. As for Franklin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Habersham Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
