Volleyball Recap: Prior Lake Falls Short Against Ranked Champlin Park

Prior Lake faced Champlin Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lakers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The defeat continues a trend for the Lakers in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost nine in a row.

Prior Lake's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Champlin Park, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Prior Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lakeville North on the 11th. As for Champlin Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Eagan on the 11th.
