Football Game Preview: North Babylon Bulldogs vs. Commack Cougars

The North Babylon Bulldogs will square off against the Commack Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

North Babylon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against East Islip, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Redmen by a score of 37-35 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Redmen are ranked 45th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Commack). They came out on top against Copiague by a score of 36-29 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

North Babylon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Commack, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.
