Basketball Recap: Morrow Comes Up Short

If Morrow was feeling good fresh off their 86-56 takedown of Northgate on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs took a blow against the Langston Hughes Panthers on Thursday, falling 66-32. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Langston Hughes, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Morrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Langston Hughes, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newnan at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
