Baseball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

If Mountain View was riding high fresh off their 18-1 takedown of Desert Ridge last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mountain View lost 19-5 to the Desert Vista Thunder on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mountain View saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Arrington, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Arrington has posted since back in April of 2024.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Desert Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-6 defeat against Corona del Sol on the 19th. As for Desert Vista, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against Basha on the 19th.
