Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Alleluia Community Angels

Trinity Christian will challenge the Alleluia Community Angels on Friday.

Trinity Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They fell 42-31 to The Habersham School. Trinity Christian has struggled against The Habersham School recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Alleluia Community was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Trinity Prep 67-37. The Angels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian better focus on containing Alley McBride and Reese Janik as the pair were huge in Alleluia Community's win. McBride posted 17 points, while Janik had 17 points. McBride's afternoon made it 12 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Lucy Krementz was another key player, putting up ten points.

Alleluia Community has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Trinity Christian strolled past Alleluia Community when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 48-31. Will Trinity Christian repeat their success, or does Alleluia Community have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
