Volleyball Recap: Myers Park Takes a Loss

Myers Park was the 3-0 winner over Providence when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Panthers on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Myers Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-23.

Myers Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Providence, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Myers Park will venture away from home to square off against Garinger at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence, they will take on Rocky River at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
