Basketball Recap: Anderson Prep Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Anderson Prep Academy won the last time they faced Morristown and things went their way on Saturday too. The Anderson Prep Academy Jets came out on top against the Morristown Yellow Jackets by a score of 55-47. Winning may never get old, but the Jets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Anderson Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camron Anderson, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 23 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. Those 23 points gave Anderson a new career-high. Lincoln Fathauer was another key player, going 6 of 12 en route to 16 points and three steals.

Despite the defeat, Morristown had strong showings from Brayden Keithley, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 21 points, and Kellen Crim, who posted 15 points along with seven assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Kieninger, who had seven points and five boards.

Anderson Prep Academy pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Morristown, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

When Anderson Prep Academy and Morristown next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Anderson Prep Academy will challenge University and their five-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Anderson Prep Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.4 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Morristown will try to stop Edinburgh's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
