Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia lost against River View on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Coyotes came up short against the Panthers, falling 20-3. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nancy Leahy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for River View, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Columbia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-4 loss against Connell on the 12th. As for River View, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Kittitas at 3:00 p.m. The Coyotes will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
