Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Amery

Amery was forced to take a big loss against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Osceola Chieftains as they made off with an 11-4 win. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Chieftains on Tuesday, they had to take a 23-3 defeat.

Jacob Maxon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Michael Morrissey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. He has become a key player for Amery: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise. Mikey Kelly was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
