Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hickory Ridge). They breezed by the A.L. Brown Wonders to the tune of 99-72 on Friday. Given the Ragin' Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Wonders are ranked 493rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Hickory Ridge back to even at 9-9. As for A.L. Brown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hickory Ridge will square off against Mooresville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Mooresville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for A.L. Brown, they will take on Lake Norman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Norman will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something A.L. Brown surely won't give up without a fight.
