Gainesville's Deshaun Watson rumbled for the longest rushing play in AAAAA Region 8 this season in his game against Flowery Branch last week. Watson's team beat the Falcons as he sprinted for 65 yards on the play and finished with 221 in all.

Watson and Chastin Newman provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Flowery Branch. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 64 yards.

Gainesville's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Watson threw for 245 and 4 touchdowns and Newman had 113 yards receiving. On the ground Watson chipped in 221 yards. Jay Gaudlock helped Gainesville's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 92 yards.

He went 13-24 with 1 interception.

Watson was a beast in the backfield as Bruce Miller's team topped Lee Shaw's team.

Watson put up the best numbers through the air as the Red Elephants defeated the Falcons. Watson's favorite target this week was Newman, who caught 3 passes for 113 yards.

Gainesville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Elephants feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Watson has thrown for 2,791 yards and 37 touchdowns this season, while Gaudlock has 70 catches for 994 yards.

Gainesville's Gaudlock needs only 6 receiving yards against M.L. King to crack 1,000 for the season. He has recorded 70 catches for 994 yards this year.

The Red Elephants extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Flowery Branch, 55-45. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
