Mountainburg put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cedarville Pirates a 10-0 shutout. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Levi Cowett was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Cowett was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Kelton Jones was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ryan Allen, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Mountainburg's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Cedarville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Mountainburg will square off against Ozark Catholic Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedarville, they will be playing at home against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
